The Survolt.

I know electric cars typically arn't all too inspiring (The Tesla is a heavier Evora with a reduced range), but has anyone seen Citroen's take on them? They call it the Survolt, and it's pretty much a race car, without an internal combustion motor. The little bugger zips to sixty in 5.2 seconds, sits on nice sticky rubber and has a race-spec inboard suspension. This is beyond the fact it's among the most awesome looking car in recent memory.

Although Citroen refuses to put it in to production (Listing the apparently miniscule market in line to buy million dollar electric race cars), it is a fully drivable prototype, and was raced by Top Gear (Listen to that gear whine!).

Seriously, tell me you don't think that's as least as cool as the Jaguar C-X75 Jet Hybrid.
