Hi all

a while back we had had some discission regarding where the best place is to get a fiero wheel alignment done- was wondering if we reached any concensus, if any one has any advice, positive, or negative stories to tell. It would be nice if we could pick one good provider, give him repeat buisness so he can get good at it....

Ok here is the Short story on Dales.

      When Dale was doing the alignments we were getting good results then he started having his junior staff do them and mistake after mistake was coming out.

        Cars with steering wheel wrong issues,  ie your wheel was cocked off to one side.

        Cars that were pulling to one side, miss setup parts.   My 88 had to go back twice in one day and still is not perfect.  Lisa car came out good, but something was left loose and it crapped out.

                 My 88 that went in twice  a month later all of a sudden I got a clunk in the front end, I personally pulled it apart and found both upper control arm bolts had only been snugged down rather than torqued and had worked there way loose.

        Brains car that he uses for races was brought to me to go over it and make sure it was perfect, I found they did not use lock nuts and the place they did, they forgot to install the cotter pins in the nuts in several places.  Then most recently we found the lock nut on Johns Chopper was left loose.  

    I will personally never recommend going back to them for anything.  Daryl knows his stuff, however for whatever reason he is now having his junior guys do it and only steps in once they have screwed something up.   That is not right in my opinion.  End of Story.

    Next time I need an alignment I will be going with Damian's recommendation in Port Coquitlam.
