Keep it and enjoy it, hard to get the money one puts into these cars, but you can get enjoyment out of it and race it for fun...I have been in that car on a autox and if I had the money and space would consider it, she is well built.

Thank you for the encouragement, but i have never even been near a race track.Hope someone who appreciates a car like this can enjoy it.Its not a vehicle that you can drive in traffic, and really does shine on the open road.I wish the sun would come out so we can go out again for some adrenalin rushes. Thanks again Brian..

Knowing this Fiero was originally owned/built on the Island, one question any prospective buyer in the Lower Mainland will ask... Is this car currently AirCared?

There's a few corrections you should make to the
craigslist
add. It's a 4.6L not a 4.9L. The spoiler isn't custom,
it's factory original. The muffler is a Spintech not a
flowmaster, and the rev limiter is set to 6800 not 7200.
Not a big deal but if you want to be technically accurate
.

If anybody wants to know any more of the details of the
car
(eg. build details, previous sales history, ect.) feel
free
to PM or email me.

Thanks for the info i will correct those right away. That was the information i was given. As for the 4K steering wheel?not quite sure why you would post a comment like that?Im not the original person you sold it to?Anyhow it is the nicest Fiero i have seen,or driven.Exceptional work Zack, and such attention to detail. If i kept it i would put black carpets and nice seats in it,but its a young mans car,and should be used not just sitting in a garage..

Well, according to the fella's user name here, I'd say his name is Bob , and he did say he's only had the car for a month... but yeah, I can certainly see why you'd be a bit choked that the asking price for your '88 appears to be about $3500-$4000 more (as chronicled Here) than you sold it for eight months ago.

I wonder what, if anything, the previous owner (David) did to the car?

Clynt I'll leave it up to you to edit if you so choose.

But here is the quick story.

Zack sold it to I believe David in New West, for around 8500 or less, David being a car salesman probably had it for a few months and sold it for a profit. Somewhere BigBob ended up with the car and is I am guessing selling it for what he paid for it.

I have no ill feelings towards Bob for selling it at his price.  It would be a totally different story if David bought the car and then tried to come back to the forum and flip it himself.

P.S. Bob, I don't know how old you are, but I am betting Clynt is near your age although he may act like and have as much fun as many of us younger people, myself being 35, he has a few years on us.

I probably should have poked my nose into this thread the day it showed up on the forum as I knew that eventually this would come to a head, knowing some of the history of the car and its owners.

So I do apologize for letting peoples noses get out of joint or toes stepped on.  Bob, the greatest way to advertise the car is to bring it on the Arlington Run and let the Yankee's see it as well as showing at it the "All Pontiac Show"  there are many guys at the show that don't think twice about dropping 20,000-40,000 on a car.  Especially one as nice as Zack's old ride.

^^^^Good advice.

I had a LOT more interest in the car from US buyers when I
was trying to sell, but they were confused by the
importation process. If you can clear up that confusion
there is a much bigger market available.

Well, let's be honest here. With the info presented to us at this point, we don't know this for a fact.

After all the work and money that Zac put into this car, it's a crying shame that somebody else is making (or has made) all the profit.

Out of respect to the man who built this car I will now refer to it as "Zack" I have never named a car before but I think in this case it is fitting.
