Blair.... anything special about the BUBBLE BATH solution???? Nope, just foaming engine cleaner and elbow grease. ( I don't like working on dirty crap.) As for engine go-fast parts, This motor can be exchanged if there is a problem. It would be a waist of time and money to go into it before it has been run in the car. It would also void any warranty from the engine supplier. ( Langley Discount Used Auto & Truck Parts)

What type and brand of foaming engine cleaner are you using, as that turned out really nice looking?

Black pockets anyone?
Inside the pocket, I stripped away old grey fabric and replaced it with black vinyl, the outside I just used "SEM" vinyl black paint to cover the grey. (I should try it on my hair)? Edited by Car-2-Lo |

Biggest tip... CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN (did I mention clean?) it to death before attempting to paint/dye it. Tide and water with a nail brush works well. Do little circles with it. |

Hi Steve, it's so cold here, there's still snow on rear bumper, hehe (will post pics of this build in a couple of weeks).
Headlight buckets are from Mazda (tweaking them to fit), I'll be installing dual projector lights from Mustang '04 (still have to order them). Will be posting this build up after rear bumper is finished. Edited by Car-2-Lo |

WOW.....can't wait to see progress!! I love how you are making this car completely your own!!!! Great job! By the way, in the fall, let me know when you're passing through Calgary again. I NEED to see this thing in person.

John's engine has it's new alternator location. Dog bone mount also holds belt tensioner.

Fun in the sun...
This weekend I had a chance to start "The Rear Bumper" I'm using the Celica (F430 Style) bumper from Mr. BodyKits. Just very little tweaking here, hehehe... bumper is being widen. I temporally bent the exhaust tips further out roughly where they will be, so I can start the mock up and fit the pieces together. I'll be working on this next weekend (if it doesn't rain) should have it finished? |

Looking great!!! Looks like you're shortening the bumper a bit as well.....I'll have to watch this one closely since I'm going to be doing the same mod to mine.

That rear end is going to be sexy John. Here's a pic of the finished cradle for the sc swap. The front cross member has been boxed and poly installed all around. |
