Ok, lost my temp gauge in the 88GT the other day and was wondering if anyone had a spare? IIRC the 86-88 gauges are the same (back-lit and same text/font), so should be good to go with any of thos. ;)

Let me know if you can help.

Thanks

By lost you mean.... ???

IF the needle just fell off (yes, it happens!), you can remove
the pod, wire it all back up, turn on the key with the engine
cold, then peg the needle back on (pointing to just under
the lowest mark).

Then do the pegging needle fix (which broke it in the first
place).

Hi,

No, lost, as in: dead, kicked the bucket, bought the farm, went to the happy hunting grounds, departed, defunct, done for, expired... ;)

Coil on the reference side is toast, gauge no worky and needs to be replaced.

So, yes I need a replacement gauge. :(

Turns out a wreckers in Nelson has one, but they are closed for holidays (July 25 - Aug 12) - sucks since I have a buddy that is there right now on a "vacation" (but will be back well before then). Double :(

Hi Capt - thanks, seen the ad and picked it up on this past weekend. Was a bit of a drive since the fellow was out in Stettler (2 hours 1 way) - but when you need 1 and the pickings are slim... ;)
