the lizardo kit is the one and only kit i would ever buy... it is a kit that the car should have to be streched for it to really look good. maybe a chop top would help it out...

good edits tho

Have a Look at my Fiero on http://www.FieroZen.com - http://www.FieroZen.com

Skip the Flash Intro as they are images of the older version of the car.

Let the slideshow load (maybe 60 secs - has music) If you need to advance use the small spinning ball underneath the images.

I would like to chop roof, lower wheelbase and Euro nose the front and rear lights and tail similar to John Carlo's baby.

I perhaps would'nt do an extensive wide body kit but something that includes the Mecham Style Side Scoops. As I use it as my daily driver, I put back on the stock rims in the winter with snowtires. So...a wide body kit might look weird.

http://www.fieroaddiction.com/store2/index.php?main_page=pro duct_info&cPath=11&products_id=19

So...if you are looking to play with another clubmember's Fiero image.

Love to have you try for me - Cheers Nigel

Ok I need a favor from someone that is good with tweaking. Well creative cropping actully.

I need it cropped down to just the car. I tried to do it myself and failed horribly because I can't do freehand cropping to save my life.

I can take care of the re-sizing, as it has to be 80x80. Its for my TomTom Nav system. I just updated to the latest software and it lets you put an image of your own car on the program to be displayed on its map while you are driving.

So if anyone can do this for me that would be awesome, and Thank You.

and when I try to leave it the shape of the car when it is opened it looks like this sorry

Yes...that's excatly what I ment.

Its interesting looking at the side profile with the roof chop. It almost makes the body look chunky. I guess the extension of the black trim does make a difference to the visual apperance. Is it possible to give me a look at this side profile without the roof-chop?

Cheers for doing this - Nigel

Or keep the color sceam and put the molding back on I think helps it not look so bulky.

Yes...I like them both. Original roof line works if car is all RED.

Yet...you are right that with the chop the original trim and colour scheme work better. Super.

Can you do the back for me?

Nice job with all the work you've been doing here. I'm sure everyone really appreciates it.

I'm not sure how I feel. I'm not in love with the chop on my car. It seems too low. On the other hand without any chop it looks dated. If you have time, and that's IF could I see the car with a 50% chop from your latest chop picture? Just so there is some head room above the seats.

Posted By: 85SEnochie
Date Posted: 14 October 2008 at 8:31am

I had heard that the original design the roof line was about two inches lower then what it is the pick here is probably a good two inches you have to know how big things are in the pick to scale it but I think its pretty close.  Hope you like it better!

Posted By: Matt
Date Posted: 14 October 2008 at 10:19am
Yeah! That looks great! The stock height of the roof takes away from that exotic look, in my opinion. That height looks excellent. Thanks.

In a couple of years I should be able to put some more work into the car apart from general maintenance. I'd like to do some sort of engine upgrade, lower the car slightly, put a sub in the center console, install those round led headlights that Clynt has and put in power windows.

I'd like to keep the rubber pad bumpers though, just because it's getting harder to find a Fiero with them.

Posted By: Matt
Date Posted: 14 October 2008 at 10:40am
Yes I saw your Fiero w/ the flush mounts. I had thought of that mainly because there would be less maintenance. But I've always been very found of the older Lotus'. I think the Fiero and Lotus look very similar so naturally the round led lights fit for me.

Here's what I'm talking about. **pics to come**

Looks good with the difuser on. It breaks up the line between the grey trim and the red in the middle-lower rear. I wonder what it would look like without the difuser and the grey trim colour including the registration plate area?

What do you think?
