Ram Air inlets, perhaps? Would be a ridiculously long intake, but then again, that is a fairly high-pressure area... Truth be told, I simply don't know. lol

Cooling for brakes I am sure...or engine.  When I am on the track I remove my rear vents

Nah, it's an old picture. More than likely they're grenade launchers.

Yep that's a very old picture of Vlad on the SCCBC track with his car.  Website is here http://www.thecar.ca - http://www.thecar.ca   I'll warn you the site is in Russian.  He sold the car, left the club and  moved back east about 8 years ago.  I'll bet the pipes were for brake cooling.  I think I still have him in my ICQ I could try and contact him and see what he says.

Dave, as soon as I clicked on that website link you posted, my anti-virus program went nuts about a trojan horse virus!

I'm not joking.

Well I all I can say is Vlad was a computer tech so I don't think anything he would have made would have had a virus in it.  I would bet its more than likley a false positive.

Could his site not have been hacked?

Avast reports that there is trojan horse malware at that website.

The malware name it's reporting is HTML:IFrame-II [Trj]

False positive or not, the warning is there in case anyone is leery of such things.

[EDIT] On a different computer with different anti-virus software, Sophos also reports trojan horse malware at that site and refuses to allow it to open.
