   About 100 MINIs parked up at Cypress Bowl last Saturday for the unveiling of the new MINI GP, and the Paceman.   

The GP is the hot rodded hatchback that signifies the end of the current generation of MINIs.  2014 will be the next generation of MINIs.  The GP comes with 6 piston brembo brakes, coilover suspension, rear seats deleted replaced by a brace, recaro seats, slightly boosted horsepower from the normal JCW edition.   Individually numbered with only 2000 built for worldwide distribution. 

The Paceman is a slightly lower 2 door version of a Countryman.  MINI's small SUV, if you will.  Available in AWD.
