Well after deciding our Blazer was not going to be worth continuing to dump money into. (Spider Injector something went bad)  We have already spent 2000 in the last 2 years fixing things, and this was the final straw.

We started looking at Craigslist for a different family car, I have always liked the style of the GTP, Lisa found this one and we went to look at it.

3800 Series 2 S/C
4t65e HD Trans with 2.93 ratio
Heated Leather Power Seats
Bose Audio system, 8 speakers, and factory amp with 12 disc CD Changer in trunk
Dual Zone Climate Controls
Driver Info Center in Dash
Keyless Entry
Sunroof
A/C Blows Cold
HUD
Steering Wheel Controls for Stereo
Tons of other little things that make it kinda neat.
Traction Control and Performance Shift Buttons
225/60/16 Z Rated Tires with a 400 Tread wear
OEM Alloy Mags

We got the car for what I feel is a steal, at $2250  came complete with dealer service records and dealer recall reports showing everything that has been done.    The car is totally 100% stock, zero mods.  Was owned by an older couple most of its life, so it has not been abused.

This should be a great family car that is still sporty enough that when our 2 year old daughter is not in it, and our soon to be born baby, (Yes Fiero Chick is 3 months Pregnant so we will be parents for a 2nd time)  I'll be able to take the car out and have some fun.   I did a quick baseline with it today and using my OBDII Scanner over blue tooth and software (Android Torque) came up with 14.9 at 92mph in the quarter with a 6.7 second Zero to 60.  I'll post a screen shot below.

I have already started looking at minor bolt on mods to drop it down to a low 14.  I don't want to go too crazy as we need it family use, I am really happy with it so far.

Here are the pics.

If anyone has suggestions on places to find good deals on parts, I am open to offers.  To be honest this is the first Front Drive car we have ever owned and the first 3800S/C I have ever owned.     I still prefer my 4.9 5spd Fiero for spirited driving, due to the torque off the line, but I can honestly say I do see the advantages of this setup.
