I say replace the heater core ASAP. It's a pretty easy
job. Mine leaked a few drops here and there and then suddenly one day my friend was driving it and it pretty much started gushing. Coolant EVERYWHERE because the heat was on (cold day). |

Try rock auto but make sure you order enough stuff to make it
worthwhile. Even alone I'm pretty sure the heater core would be $80 or less shipped. |

I ended up using an A/C heater core in mine because I could get it for
$40 from Lordco. They couldn't get a non-A/C one for me. |

Honest to gawd, I don't know why anyone would shop at Ludco... or Lordco! $41.79 at RockAuto. ($29.79 for a cheaper A/C unit.) Or buy from a vendor on eBay or from Amazon. You've got lots of time to wait for shipping. It's not as if you'll need a heater for awhile.

Honestly, Lordco is great for certain things as long as you're using a
decent account or are friends with one of the parts people. I usually go through the local drag racing club account and, for example, I can get AN fittings and lines cheaper than anywhere online, plus I don't pay shipping. On some items as well such as gaskets the prices are about the same as rock auto. |

Bingo! For anyone from off the street, Lordco is nothing but a complete ripoff. My favorite Lordco story is in This thread.
